There weren't any puppies or Sports Illustrated swimsuit models, but Dodge Ram's two-minute long Super Bowl spot quieted game watchers when it aired during the fourth quarter.
The nontraditional spot, created by The Richards Group, used stills of farmers and agricultural scenes over a louder-than-usual voiceover of Paul Harvey's poem, "So God Made A Farmer."
While the ad is certainly powerful, it inspired very different reactions depending on the viewer. Some thought it was genius. Others thought, what the heck?
