It might only be the first quarter of the Super Bowl, but Doritos' "Goat 4 Sale"— about loudly chip chewing goat with an attitude — is a clear commercial winner.
This is the sixth year that Doritos crowd sourced its Super Bowl ad. Users create the spots and then the people of the internet decide which ones will play in the big game. Three recent Doritos-created ads won USA Today's Ad Meter. If the goat spot proves to be the crowd favorite, creator Ben Callner will win $1 million and get to work on Michael Bay's next "Transformers" flick.
Here's what you need to know about the goat:
- His name is Moose
- He has a twin named Kudzu who helped "direct" the spot
- He belongs to Callner's friend and co-writer Steve Colby
- Moose didn't actually do the scream — that sound belongs to Callner's friend Keith
